Many signals. One clear picture.
On election day, information arrives from thousands of places at once. EIRIS receives it from the field and turns it into a structured, traceable picture that a Situation Room can act on.
- Check-ins
- Results with sheet photos
- Incidents with evidence
The information was always there. It was scattered.
Observer groups, media monitors, institutions and campaign situation rooms all put people in the field on election day. What they lacked was one dependable way to bring those reports together, check them, and respond in time.
Without a shared system
- Calls and chat messages that arrive faster than anyone can read them
- Photos with no polling unit, time or place attached
- Spreadsheets merged by hand late at night
- Numbers that cannot be traced back to a result sheet
With EIRIS
- Structured reports tied to a polling unit
- Evidence with time, place and a fingerprint
- One live map for the whole operation
- Every number checked against its sheet photo
Seven rules we build by.
They decide what EIRIS does, and just as often, what it refuses to do.
- 01
Evidence before interpretation
What the field submitted is kept exactly as it arrived. Corrections, AI readings and analysis are stored beside it, never over it.
- 02
Offline first
Agents can check in, report and submit results with no signal. Work is saved on the phone and sent when the connection returns.
- 03
Geography is the interface
Elections happen in polling units, wards and LGAs. The map is how you see the operation, not a decoration on top of it.
- 04
Humans make the consequential decisions
AI can read, summarize and search. It does not alter results, declare fraud or decide outcomes. A named person does.
- 05
Everything important is auditable
Sensitive actions leave a permanent record of who, what, when and why.
- 06
Progressive complexity
Field agents get a simple app. Command staff get the deeper tools. Nobody carries complexity they do not need.
- 07
Real-time where it helps
Live updates improve awareness. The database stays authoritative, so a dropped connection never changes the record.
What EIRIS does not do.
An election tool earns trust by being clear about its limits. These are not gaps on a roadmap. They are decisions.
EIRIS does not Run electronic voting
EIRIS never touches a ballot.
EIRIS does not Replace the electoral commission
It sits beside official systems. It does not stand in for them.
EIRIS does not Declare results
It collects and checks what observers report. Official results come from the commission.
EIRIS does not Predict winners
No forecasts, no projections, no 'leading' banners.
EIRIS does not Recommend candidates or parties
Neutral by design, for every kind of organization.
EIRIS does not Label allegations as proven fraud
It records evidence and flags mismatches. People draw conclusions.
EIRIS does not Use facial recognition by default
Photos are evidence of a place and a moment, not a tool for identifying people.
EIRIS does not Need a constant connection
The field app works offline and catches up later.
Built in Nigeria. Starting with Nigeria.
EIRIS is shaped around how Nigerian elections are organized: states, LGAs, wards and polling units, real result sheets, and field agents working on patchy mobile networks. The live demo runs on Bauchi State geography.
